Needs to be thickened and the font is too spaced out (fix kerning), the shape of the shutter (or whatever you cam-cam freaks call it) is unappealing. The font is extremely unattractive. However, you are right in line with what a logo should be, get together with Trisha, if you guys go half-and-half you will have a working logo.
If you want to avoid script fonts, use a stronger font. There are many fonts out there you can use that aren't as flashy as Trisha's, but aren't as lame as yours.

I appreciate your comment, I'd disagree that Helvetica slim is unattractive, but again I appreciate the constructive criticism.
